Many of us, including myself, can find it difficult to identify the cause of generally feeling discomfort and uneasiness. We might wake up feeling stuck, worthless, hopeless, lacking energy or simply have no sense of self. It is the heavy feeling in the chest or gut, an overwhelming feeling of not being who or what we thought we would be in life. That feeling of malaise does not respect if you are male, female, non-binary or if you are 16 or 65 years of age. Any of us can and will suffer from anxiety and / or depression at some point in our lives. I have helped individuals with wide ranging mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and many other mental health issues. I approach all my clients from a place of empathy, curiosity, and wonder. I do not judge, as I strongly believe nobody knows your life and experiences better than you. For this reason, I treat every case as unique and I approach every client with an open heart and mind. Regardless of your specific challenge, you are special and deserve the best treatment possible. I have the benefit of having lived and survived my 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, and even some of my 50’s. I understand both the joy and frustrations of being married for 25+ years and having raised children. I get that life is messy! That’s why I do what I do.
