I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Florida with over 15 years of experience working in a variety of nonprofit environments with different populations including immigrant families and adults, children with disabilities, college students, families experiencing domestic violence, and adults with severe and persistent mental illness as well as their families. I have a background in community health, crisis intervention, providing individual and group therapy, and helping people break down goals into manageable steps in order to make and sustain change. I've worked with my clients on a variety of issues including: improving communication skills, setting realistic goals, managing stress, managing symptoms of mental illness including depression and anxiety, improving personal relationships, and improving overall health and wellness.

My counseling style is warm and non-judgmental. I am here to provide support to help you manage difficult emotions, identify barriers to goals, and problem solve creative solutions to increase mental wellness. I use interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Techniques, Visualization, Goal Planning, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Relaxation and Stress Reduction Techniques to help you find ways to self soothe, destress, and increase your overall wellness. I can discuss your unique counseling needs with you so that we can develop a treatment plan catered to your goals.
