Hi there, I'm Riham! Hi there, I'm Rita! My name is Rita Haddad, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, California, and working with clients all around the LA area via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, stress, chemical dependency, and depression, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Therapy to help my clients make progress and start feeling better. My approach My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with (meeting them where they are). I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Therapy, as both modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of their reality, build a solid foundation, and allow us to work together to progress forward. My focus I have found that my style, transparency, and approach are a good fit for adults and older adults who have been dealing with the challenges of life transitions, relationships, and social pressures. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and substance use. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods, build self-esteem, change negative thoughts, and begin to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and nurture healthy relationships. My communication style My communication style is calm, friendly, and accommodating. I want my clients to feel as open and as comfortable talking with me about anything, and I take great pride in my ability to listen without judgment and with empathy. My journey to therapy I chose this profession as I have always been a person who helps others. I once needed help and reached out; I was led on this journey through my past and what I have been able to achieve. I have always known I would be helping people through difficult times as I was once helped. I enjoy seeing individuals become the best versions of themselves.
