Hello. My name is Dr. Walter. I am a Licensed Psychotherapist with more than 16 years of experience in the helping profession. I am passionate about helping others realize their place of wholeness and mental wellness. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have advance training and expertise in the treatment of Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Stressed Related Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Grief Therapy, Co-occurring Disorders, Neuro-Development Disorders (Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders), Disruptive, Impulse-Control and Conduct Disorders, Intellectual Disorders, Bipolar Disorder Related Disorders, and Adjustment Disorders.

My theoretical orientation is an integration of evidenced-based theories grounded in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Brief Solution Focused, Mindfulness CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Enhancement Therapy, NTU Psychotherapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I see the therapeutic relationship with my clients as collaborative, engaging and client-directed. I respect the fact that everyone enters the therapy process for different reasons.
