I am a compassionate, insightful, innovative Christian counselor with decades of experience in counseling, healthcare, coaching and education (K-12, college and more). My orientation as a generalist serves single adults, married and engaged couples, elderly, children (usually 8 and over) and teens within a practice that treats depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, relationship problems, career development and more (including higher functioning Autism. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma and emotional abuse.

My clients tend to find me open, supportive and on target when addressing emotional, psychological, developmental, practical, spiritual and pastoral needs. My approach combines a number of modalities including CBT, RET, Existential, Recovery, Emotionally Focused, Life Coaching, Solutions Focused, Strength Based, Person Centered, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology and Prayer.

I believe in focusing on modalities that encourage inner healing, positive change in personal dynamics and 'systems', forgiveness, increasing a sense of self worth and motivation for change and orienting in better ways to deal with problem people and difficult circumstances! Ultimately, I encourage clients to cultivate courage to discover and realize NEW LIFE, new paths for growth and positive change! I am very pleased when I find those I work with are increasing their capacity to love others, relate more constructively,and solve complex problems with emerging healthy strength!
