Glad you are reading my profile and I really hope it speaks to you. If it does, let’s get started on an amazing journey to face and conquer whatever it is you are going through.

I have 11 years’ experience as a therapist and there is not much I have not heard. There is not much I have not helped people deal with. I am interested in helping you with anything. No topic or issue is off limits with me.
My name is Richard Turnham, LPC-S, LADC-S (Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor). I am a board approved supervisor in both disciplines as well. I have been in the mental health field for 13 years and have 11 years’ experience as a therapist. Also, I have been married for 11 years and have a 3-year-old daughter and 8-year-old boy.

My passion for therapy comes from my own struggles and a genuine desire to understand all human behavior. My deep interest in understanding people fuels my energy for therapy sessions. My own experience of what it feels like to struggle in life and the fulfillment of finding solutions to those struggles sets the foundation for my approach. What an amazing feeling it is to overcome obstacles and an even more amazing feeling to help someone else do this.
As mentioned previously, in my 11 years as a therapist I have gained experience with so many different issues and would like to help you with whatever it is you are struggling with.
