You may have sought counseling before and been disappointed or you may be new to treatment. I have a deeply empathic appreciation for my clients and always look for the inner creative spark that will help jumpstart the process of inner exploration. My style is relaxed and down to earth. I often listen intuitively and assign various creative tasks that provide a platform for that exploration. You may be a creative person looking to re-connect with your vision, or never picked up a pencil! My philosophy is that we are all inherently creative; we all need to navigate our way through extraordinary circumstances these days.

I began my career over 25 years ago as an aspiring art therapist (SAIC, '97) and proceeded to work intensely as a direct clinician with art therapy one of my main therapeutic 'tools' ever since! I'm licensed in Florida (LMHC) where I work with a variety of clients in both outpatient and community settings. My love of helping people find their path and purpose through life's struggles and challenges inspires me every day. My appreciation of the courage it takes to address these issues comes from my own life experience and respect for what clients bring into the counseling relationship to be understood.

My area of expertise also includes mood and anxiety disorders, relationship/couples, family issues, life changes and transitions, and substance abuse (CAP in Florida). I've worked with military vets, professionals, artists and educators. I look forward to meeting you soon.
