About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts, a Board Certified Art Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher. I graduated from Lesley University with a MA in 1995. I am also a Certified Clinical Supervisor and have been providing clinical supervision since 1997. I have worked with clients ages 4-80 in agencies and in my private practice. I have expertise in helping clients overcome a broad range of life challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma and abuse, life transitions and parenting difficulties.

My counseling style is client centered, collaborative and strengths based. I provide a nonjudgmental, safe supportive space in which to explore a full range of feelings. I will individualize your treatment to your needs using evidence based techniques and providing you with concrete tools to help you meet your goals. I take a holistic approach that can include mind/body directives to decrease stress and anxiety and help regulate your nervous system. I am very experienced in the use of the art as a healing force and can help you discover how to harness the power of the creative process to gain insight, find direction and transform your life.
