I have been a licensed independent clinical social worker for 7 years. I have worked with children and families extensively. I am trained to work with clients who have experienced or are experiencing the following: chronic medical conditions, childhood trauma; foster care; family separation/divorce; co-parenting; anxiety; depression; and a variety of other mental health needs. We can work together to improve your coping skills, increase your distress tolerance, minimize negative thought patterns, and work toward the goals you have for yourself.

As your therapist, I am here to listen, facilitate the therapeutic process, and support you as you determine how to move forward in your life. Throughout my career, clients have found me to be warm, authentic, and supportive. We will begin our work by discussing what brings you here. I would encourage you to think about what you are willing to do to address the needs that bring you to therapy. It will be vital for us to talk about what goals you have, if any, for therapy. If you have participated in therapeutic services before, I would like to know what worked well for you and what did not.

It would be beneficial to this process if you could also share with me what you expect from me as your therapist. If, at any point, you feel something is not working for you, please let me know. My goal is for therapy is to address the needs you have. If it feels like we are not doing that, let’s explore that and see what we can do to change it.
