Rhea Spina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Reiki Master, Vibrational Sound Therapist and Spiritually Psyched Co-Founder. Rhea has experience as a counselor facilitating daily individual and group therapy for those diagnosed with substance use disorder; and has recently expanded her horizons venturing into the world of private practice. She has a beautiful and inviting office at The Holistic Center for Soulful Living. Rhea incorporates complementary and alternative modalities of treatment to support overall awareness and wellbeing. She brings a conscious attention to our soul based self by means of Reiki, Vibrational Sound Therapy, Drum Circles and Psychoeducation. Specialized lecture topics include vulnerability, empathy, the link between spirituality and mental health, and healthy and effective communication skills. Rhea serves as a counselor working with Veterans and First Responders, FDNY, NYPD etc. with attention and consideration to job related culture, trauma, generational and moral constructs. Rhea’s passions include the art of photography, volunteering for veteran related organizations and the exploration of new places and cultures for the desired effect of awe. Unconditional, non-judgmental, genuine and whole hearted person centered strength based approach is her focus. With trust, dedication and balance, Rhea’s hopes are to empower individuals on their journey towards self-actualization.
