I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) credentialed in Massachusetts. I received my Master's Degree in Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. Over the last 6 years, I have worked as a counselor with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings. I have provided individual and group therapy in acute treatment and outpatient levels of care. I have worked with individuals and families in homes, schools, and clinics. My internship for my Master's Degree was at a partial hospitalization program.
My counseling style is empathetic and person-centered. I also like to pull in aspects from other approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I believe that my approach should be tailored to each individual's needs and personality. I am creative and enjoy thinking outside the box to meet each person's unique needs. I also like to receive input and feedback from each individual I work with.
