I am Reiko Berman Shingu, LCSW-C/LCSW, a bicultural clinical social worker with 19 years of professional experience, licensed in MD and VA. As a psychotherapist, I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transition problems, cross-cultural challenges, trauma and abuse, and grief and loss at an outpatient mental health clinic.

My style is warm and interactive: I treat anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. In a collaborative and goal-oriented manner, I listen to your challenges and tailor to use a variety of treatment approaches to support you toward the goals that we create together, to meet your specific needs.
