Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Supervisor (LPC-S), licensed to practice in Louisiana. I have a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. I have been a licensed mental/behavioral health therapist for over ten years. I have more than 15 years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups as a helping professional. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting concerns, childhood trauma, physical and emotional abuse, and ADHD. I have also helped clients who experienced flashbacks of emotional trauma from human trafficking.

I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and empathy. My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, with some combination of Motivational interviewing. You will be actively engaged in interactive and sometimes illustrative sessions that are designed to meet your specific needs. You will also have an opportunity to measure your progress and I will be there to assist you in making the adjustments necessary to reach your therapeutic goals.
