I work collaboratively with children, adolescents, and adults through individual therapy in Spanish and English. I enjoy working with teens and adolescents who are experiencing debilitating social, emotional, and behavioral problems in school, home, and community. I have experience working with individuals who are dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, anger, and family conflicts. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, an evidenced based approach especially for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma and pursing certification. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and love working with the cultural and emotional challenges that come with being a dual language individual or family. I enjoy working the teens who are experiencing debilitating, challenging social, emotional or behavioral problems in school, home or the community. Many of my adult clients are dealing with the stress and anxiety of everyday living. Many have experienced past trauma that is now interfering with their life. Many have family conflicts and need to learn a wider range of emotions and skills to work through the resulting anger, sadness and disappointment.
