Rebekah’s primary goal is to help people who feel stuck, either in unproductive communication patterns or conflicts that threaten their most important relationships. She places great value on being a compassionate, non-judgmental, responsive collaborator. Rebekah supports her patients in finding the answers that they already hold within them. This often means uncovering a patient’s strengths, unrecognized needs, new or under-utilized talents, and problem-solving abilities. While we cannot change the past, Rebekah provides support in unlearning maladaptive behavior patterns and restructuring negative perceptions. This is important for empowering patients and helping them pursue growth and well-being. Rebekah has been providing therapy since 2012 and works with patients ages 10-65. She uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, experiential therapy, and an overall holistic approach. She treats anxiety, depression, life transitions, peer relationships, school issues, self-esteem problems, and stress. In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys hiking, kayaking, weightlifting, baking bread from homemade flour, gardening, painting, and hand-making cards.
