I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Pennsylvania with 16 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I completed my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Syracuse University in 2002. I have a B.A. in Psychology from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. I have vast experience working with individuals, couples and families in a number of different treatment settings.

My training was specifically "systems" based which means the focus of my work takes into account not just the characteristics of an individual, but also the dynamics, influence and characteristics of the relationships and other people within the life of the individual. Working within the dynamics of a couple or family is a process I am very comfortable with. I would describe my approach as empathetic, warm, and client centered. While I tend to tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual client, typically I will incorporate cognitive behavioral, solution focused and mindfulness based techniques into therapy. Most importantly, I strive to provide a safe, objective and non-judgmental setting where all clients can process difficulties.

I mostly work with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem and confidence struggles, divorce, relationship troubles, poor communication, every-day stressors, school concerns and parenting issues.
