About
Hello and welcome!
If you’re here, there’s something in your life that you want to be better. Maybe you're dealing with a devastating life event or wanting to improve some area of life a little. Or, perhaps just struggling to make a difficult decision. All reasons are valid and important.
As a compassionate, skilled psychotherapist with 30 years' experience, my mission is to relieve suffering in the world by helping people live wholehearted lives filled with peace and contentment. I do that by partnering with them on an exciting path of self-discovery and change. It can be hard work…sometimes harder than folks anticipate. But, that’s why I’m here: To support you through it.
I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I'm also Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). My professional experience has included working in a variety of settings including community mental/behavioral health, forensic services, community-based programs, and private practice. The first nine years of my clinical experience focused on working with children and their families. Over the years, I've broadened my practice to include working with adults and couples. I also provide clinical supervision to therapists who are in the process of obtaining state licensure. In addition to my work as a clinician, I've also held corporate positions in which I've provided leadership coaching and team development.
My areas of expertise lie in trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD (children & adults), stress management, career and relationship issues, as well as leadership coaching and development. My theoretical approach primarily draws from psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral perspectives while integrating holistic, client-centered/humanistic elements. Empathy and compassion are the overarching themes throughout my life.
Please note that my calendar reflects available times for scheduling video, phone or live chats. It doesn't reflect times that I'm actively online and able to respond immediately to messages. The bulk of my availability is on Thursdays, Fridays 10am - 8pm, and Saturdays 10am - 5pm. I do sometimes have evening availability on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am always open to scheduling outside of these times to accommodate clients, if I am able to. Feel free to ask.
If you're ready to take the next step, I'm ready to take it with you!
