About

I am a licensed board certified counselor with the state of Oklahoma. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters in Counseling and Human Relations with an emphasis in Art Therapy.

I have worked in both in-patient and out-patient settings assisting patients with a wide range of mental health issues. I specialize in trauma, relationship conflict/divorce/loss, personal identity struggles, depression, and coping with anxiety issues.

I believe in change and betterment. Personal change and a commitment to work through difficult emotions can be daunting for most people. Being able to identify problematic life issues is important, but so too is the readiness to make a change. For this reason, I provide therapy at the pace of the client’s readiness to move forward.

I tailor the therapy approach to the needs of the client. My approach may include Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered, Existential therapy, and Humanistic counseling.
