I approach working with clients from a person-centered approach, utilizing individuals' strengths to work on their identified needs. I have 19 years of experience in the mental health field, working with various populations in multiple settings, with over 6 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker. The main modalities that I employ are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Based interventions, Illness Recovery and Management, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy as needed. My specialties include Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. I strive to ensure that my therapy sessions are tailored to the individual needs of clients in regard to their personal identity, beliefs, and goals.
