About

I am an individual, couples, and family counselor licensed in Virginia with over 3 years of experience working as a counselor. I have worked with clients from age 14 to over 70. The clients I've worked with in the past have presented with a wide range of concerns including substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and PTSD.

My counseling style is warm and understanding, with a little bit of humor mixed in when appropriate. I believe that a person's behaviors do not define them. I provide all clients with respect, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach. I utilize cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, behavioral, and rational-emotive counseling techniques. Our sessions will be centered around helping you achieve your goals.

Seeking positive growth and change can be scary, but a better quality of life could be waiting for you on the other side of that fear and discomfort. Therapy is a safe space to be honest with yourself. It is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and do what's needed in order to achieve the change you're seeking. You don't have to do it alone.
