About

I am a Licensed mental health counselor, working for 17 years, supporting children, adolescents and adults in both outpatient and community settings. I received my Masters from Boston College in 2004 and have been a licensed therapist since 2007. I have worked with folks who have sought help around experiences of complex trauma, anxiety, interpersonal struggles, depression including post partum depression, caregiver/parenting support, identity work, and life transitions.
My therapeutic style is warm and interactive, and my approach to the therapy work involves partnering with folks to come up with a plan based on what works best for you. This could include a coaching/directing approach and/or a more self reflective approach, generally aimed to support folks in helping build a frame for better understanding, compassion and acceptance for themselves in the recovery/journey.
My therapy approaches include attachment based modalities, Internal Family System or parts work, acceptance based modalities and mindfulness and self compassion models.
