Hello, my name is Becky CancilIa. My counseling style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgemental. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor practicing in Florida, with over 5 years experience providing individual therapy. My area of expertise is working with survivors of sexual trauma with PTSD, anxiety, and /or depression. I use Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBD), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I earned a Master’s of Science in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University in 2016, Bellevue Nebraska. I also hold a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Peru State College. I completed my graduate internships at a community counseling center that specializes in treating children who have experienced sexual trauma. For the past 4 years, I have worked at a rape crisis center, providing counseling to adolescents and adults who have experienced sexual trauma, as well as those close to them. who are considered secondary trauma victims.
