Becky Stidham & Associates specializes in individual and couples therapy, and maintains a private practice in Houston, Texas. With over 21 years experience as a psychotherapist, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are working with anxiety, depression, anger management, hypnosis, and Brainspotting. Becky is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing Before private practice, Becky worked in psychiatric settings – both hospital and outpatient clinic. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified in anger management, dispute resolution, and hypnotherapy. She is also certified in Brainspotting. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Becky earned her bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Tulsa and her MSW from the University of Oklahoma. Becky lived for many years in Europe, West Africa, and Asia. Her biggest thrill is helping people resolve their psychological problems and get better. Please note: Becky does not accept insurance.
