About
I believe counseling is a collaborative, wholistic process. I come from a strengths-based perspective that? supports a person's capacity for change and recognizes the importance of one's life story. As a counselor, my goal is to reach positive changes in every client's life by creating an environment that feels safe and exploratory while looking at experiences, fears, and desires through multiple lenses all while learning tools to better manage emotions, perceive and interact in our world. My 15 years of clinical experience includes working with individual, family and groups of all ages and levels of acuity. I enjoy working with pre-teen, adolescent and adult individuals facing challenges with mood, life transitions, balance/stress, adoption/infertility, parenting issues, relational issues and trauma. As a CFI I understand that coping with family conflict, custody and divorce issues can be one of the most challenging times ones life. My goal is to work with each family as a neutral 3rd party, gather information and report facts and recommendations with transparency empathy and sensitivity in mind with the hope to help families and not add additional and stress.
