I have always been passionate about working with people and assisting them in becoming their authentic selves. We all experience pain, loss, worry, anxiety, sadness, and adjustment (to name a few). We all experience pain, loss, worry, anxiety, sadness, and adjustment (to name a few). I believe that part of the journey to healing and empowerment includes connection and having a safe space for you to speak and share your story without fear of judgment! I have experience working with a diverse population passionate about Q+ children, teens, couples, families, individuals, and the LatinX community. Much of my experience has been addressing: mental health, depression and anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, gender identity, sexual orientation, and cultural and lifestyle diversity. I obtained my bachelor’s in Sociology and then my Masters in counseling psychology. I am Licensed Marriage, and family therapist certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Seeking Safety, and ARISE (day-to-day coping skills). As part of the Acacia team, I hope to provide a safe space for you to be your authentic self without judgment and help you reach your personal goals. There is only one you, one life, and only you can decide how you want to live it! I am excited to be on this journey with you, and I would love to get to know you and assist you along that way!
