My name is Ms. Rasheede Hicks, M.Ed., Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, C-Grief Counselor, Anger Management-Certified with twenty years of Mental Health Experience. I’m passionate about helping my clients reach their fullest potential here and now. What differentiates me as a provider? My experiences, past and present. My passion and drive. My tolerance and understanding. My ability to identify/discern what my clients are seeking and need. Everyone has a hidden gift. My objective for my clients is to help them build up their inner strength so that they may be able to identify their skills. Knowing that you have a talent and learning what to do with that gift is key to understanding your purpose in this world. My approach is holistic. If people have physical, emotional, or spiritual imbalances in their lives, it can negatively affect their overall well-being. I’m also a big believer in Mindfulness and the “Art of Focusing on the Here and Now” and learning how to move forward in your journey. My goal is to meet my clients where they are in life and grow from there. Any therapeutic approach utilized is highly individualized for each of my client's unique needs.
