I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 5 years of experience providing therapy. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance use, parenting problems, mood dysregulation, eating disorders, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My theoretical style is best described as person centered and humanistic, and I am empathetic and non-judgmental in my approach. Humanistic theory recognizes the importance of being your true self in order to lead the most fulfilling life. I also believe past mistakes and hardships can make people stronger, wiser, and ultimately be used for good. My technique is eclectic and will be suited and tailored to meet your individual needs. I frequently utilize DBT, CBT, solution focused, and experiential therapy strategies. I believe that art therapy and narrative therapy can be very transformative as well. I enjoy helping people understand and manage strong emotions and have frequently worked with people on anger management. I also specialize in helping people who are dealing with hallucinations. We will design the treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
