About

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 12 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, suicidal ideation and self-harm behaviors, sexual issues, and stresses related to involvement in the criminal justice system. I also helped many people who have experienced physical, sexual trauma or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm, motivational, supportive and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, an open mind, and compassion. I find that my clients are the experts of their lives and my role is to help support, educate and motivate them to find their own path to happiness. I enjoy keeping a light-hearted approach and find that maintaining a sense of humor with difficult situations makes them easier to talk about. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and trauma-informed therapy techniques. I will tailor our dialoge and treatment plan to meet your unique goals and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you. My availability for live and phone sessions changes week to week, so if you don't see a time slot that works for you please message me so I can provide more options.

I look forward to working with you!
