Hello I am a Licensed Independent Counselor for the states of Washington and Connecticut. I have 23 years of experience working as a Child and Adolescent therapist, Home Health Social Worker for the geriatric population, Emergency room Social Worker, Crisis counseling for onsite homicides as well as Adult individual/family therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, crisis management, academic/school problems, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, transition issues, personality problems and mood dysregulation concerns. I also helped many people who have experienced physical, sexual or emotional trauma.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, metacognition motivational interviewing skills and therapeutic techniques. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs as everyone is different.
