Hi there! My name is Randee and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of KY. I have several years of experience providing therapy services. I have worked in a wide range of therapeutic settings including: residential treatment facilities, outpatient community mental health centers, and a domestic violence shelter. I work with clients affected by depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma and relationship challenges from individual, group and family work. I am also very passionate about stress management and the importance of "filling our cup" first so that we can effectively take care of others in our lives.


I am from KY and continue to reside here. I received my undergraduate degree in Counseling Psychology at Kentucky Christian University and my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Marshall University.

My approach to therapy is client centered: clients are the experts on their lives and determine the direction and depth of therapy. Through a trauma informed and strengths-based focused lens, I draw on multiple treatment modalities to guide clients in identifying strengths and developing treatment plans that accomplish their goals. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in exploring relationships among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. I assist clients in developing important skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, stress management, self-love and compassion, gratitude and emotion regulation. My ultimate goal in therapy is for clients to become connected to the inner power and wisdom that they hold inside.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I practice yoga as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) for the Yoga Alliance. I also enjoy spending time in nature, reading, learning new things, going on adventures, and spending time with my husband and our little girl.
