I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and have been practicing for 12 years. I help individuals in recognizing patterns they may not be aware of so that you are able to have better insight and control over your emotions and behaviors. I provide curious and compassionate presence in your journey of self exploration and self understanding. I believe each one of us is capable of making changes in our lives to overcome the obstacles and barriers that prevents us from being our most authentic self. I use client center approach which begins with unconditional positive regard and empathetic understanding. I believe this is important to build rapport and create a foundation of trust. I use a variety of theories and interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused, motivational interviewing, relational therapy and strength based therapy to support clients to achieve their goals.
