I am licensed in Illinois with 13 years of experience in the mental health field . My experience includes working with adult survivors of childhood trauma, homelessness, and substance use. I also have experience working with compassion fatigue, self-esteem, and embracing change. I have lived experience in the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities but will never say that I know exactly how you feel. My approach is eclectic; I work to develop an individualized treatment plan with each client, and I will check in regularly to assess for progress or to identify any changes to treatment that may be needed. I have been trained in EMDR, CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution focused brief therapy, and I also pull from DBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy concepts.
