Whether you’re dealing with feelings of loss, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling overwhelmed and not like yourself, I’m here to help navigate that process alongside you. Hi, I’m Rachel, a practicing Limited License Masters of Social Work (LLMSW) Therapist. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and received my Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Michigan, School of Social Work. I specialize in person-centered therapy with a focus on anxiety, trauma, depression, and coping skills development. My therapeutic approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness- and meditation-based therapies. I currently work with adolescents and adults who are dealing with life’s many challenges. Together we can create a safe and non-judgement space where you feel heard and accepted. My goal as your therapist is to empower you and to give you the tools you need for positive change in your life as well as your mental health and physical health. My strengths-based approach will focus on building off the best parts of you and finding what a successful and happy life means to you. I look forward to working with you!
