About

I am a licensed professional counselor in Connecticut with over six years of experience working as a counselor. I have worked with a wide variety of populations including children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. I have worked with these populations in many different settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use facilities and mobile crisis intervention and stabilization. I enjoy working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, self-harm, low self-esteem, and life changes.

My counseling style is that of a collaborative approach. I believe the client is the expert in his/her life and I am there to guide you in achieving your treatment goals. I am empathetic, warm, and interactive. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for you to speak freely. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapy. I will tailor my approach to your individual needs.

Life is full of ups and downs. I can assist you in regaining hope and control of your life. I will help you resolve life’s challenges and lead a happy, productive life. I am currently only offering sessions on Saturdays.
