About

Hello! My name is Rachel Daniels (she, her, hers). I know how vulnerable it can make some feel to seek help, so I appreciate your courage in seeking to meet whatever need you may have. Dial 911, your local emergency services, or the national crisis hotline at 1-800-273-8255 If you find yourself in a mental health crisis, have plans to harm yourself or harm someone else. Dial 911 immediately if you are experiencing a medical emergency.

As a licensed certified social worker, I offer non-crisis services to professionals, college students, and interdisciplinary team members that is safe, nonjudgmental, respectful, trauma- and culturally- responsive, trusting, empowering, motivating, supportive, positive, inclusive, holistic, and prevention- and justice-focused. My virtual space allows you to process life experiences/adjustments, anxiety, and burnout. I help you find opportunities towards awareness, courage, and decision-making as the expert on yourself and I walk alongside you as you work towards set goals to improve areas in your life that involve acceptation, change, growth, and a learner mindset to thrive within your best authentic self and life that is lived. This can happen by:

Building self-awareness and understanding about your body and brain's reactions and our innate ability to heal
Prioritizing your mental health and wellness
Managing stress and your energy
Dealing with and healing from trauma by processing your valid experiences where you can feel seen and heard
Connecting with your sense of self (humanity, worth, esteem, identify, confidence, values, compassion, actualization, meaning, and purpose)
Reconnecting with your body
Caring for yourself, your needs, showing self-love, and realigning your habits, organization, finances, and roles (parenting, caregiving, spouse, employment, community)
Building internal and external resources
Expressing your emotions and practice emotional regulation and intelligence
Challenging unhelpful thoughts or beliefs
Improving relationships, interdependence, and boundaries
Building a healthy environment, community, and social support
Building resiliency
And practicing healthy coping tools and strategies towards self-reflection and mindfulness feeling secure, grounded, balanced, centered, peaceful, hopeful, and free.

Individual adults located in Mississippi will need a private location, video and audio, and stable internet for virtual video sessions. You are invited to connect with me by reaching out through the chat. You will need to be able to provide identification and emergency contact. I usually have open appointment slots Mon-Fri. Together, we can decide if my approach is best for you, and if telehealth is a good fit for your current needs, then sign consents to begin services.
