Hi there, I'm Rachel! Hi, my name is Rachel Golub and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I am a compassionate and dedicated professional committed to supporting my clients in navigating and overcoming life's challenges. With extensive training and experience in mental health, I provide therapeutic interventions and counseling services to promote emotional well-being and enhance the lives of the clients that I serve. My approach I use an integrated, holistic, person-centered approach to help clients achieve personal growth, emotional healing, and improved mental well-being. I emphasize the therapeutic relationship and tailor my approach to the individual needs of each unique client. I use a strengths-based approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and other evidence-based interventions to facilitate a supportive therapeutic alliance and approach that addresses individual needs and empowers clients to make positive changes in their lives. Through my empathetic, accepting, and nonjudgmental approach, I aim to empower clients to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives. My focus I have had the pleasure of working in a variety of clinical settings in which I provided counseling services to my clients. I have worked as a Medical Social Worker providing Hospice services to patients and their families facing end-of-life challenges. I have experience working with children and families in outpatient community mental health and in the school settings, in addition to private practice. I have particularly enjoyed working with preschool and elementary-aged children using child-centered play therapy approaches. I utilized CCPT to provide therapeutic opportunities for them to express thoughts and feelings in age-appropriate and expressive ways while assisting them to strengthen communication and coping skills to improve relationships, social skills, and behavior.
