About

I am a PhD-trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in North Carolina and Ohio with over 24 years of experience. I practiced for many years while serving in the military. During that time, I routinely helped clients going through major life transitions and stressors, in addition to those who experienced trauma. Some of these transitions included occupational changes, marriage, the arrival of a new baby, health crises, and divorce – to name a few. I apply a strengths-based perspective and utilize this framework with clients through Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Hypnotherapy, EMDR, and Mindfulness practices.

Part of my life’s work has been to walk alongside people through life’s difficulties, joys, and other circumstances. I listen closely to my clients and provide a supportive space for them to harness their strengths to guide the path for discovery, healing, and transformation. I have spent many years studying and participating in psychological-spiritual work that encourages clients to practice unwavering self-care.
