Hi! My name is Rachael Seldin. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Jersey and I have a Masters in Social Work. I hold my Advanced Certification in Alcohol and Substance Abused in the State of New York. I have three years of experience in clinical counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide array of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, life changes, grief and loss, addiction, parenting issues and crisis counseling.

I received my B.S. in Psychology at Stony Brook University in New York. I received my Masters in Social Work from New York University in NY.

My approach to therapy is to follow the clients lead meaning the client chooses what goals they want to work on. We break down these goals into smaller achievable increments. Together the client and I discuss what is working in treatment and what actions we need to modify. Although we are comprised of different life experiences, we can relate on an empathic level. We both have experienced feelings of happiness and feelings of sadness and that is where our therapeutic relationship will start.

I am available on all platforms including video, phone and text messaging. I find it most helpful to communicate via video session so that we can get to know each other better. I am also available by phone and text messaging for your comfort and convenience.
