About

I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Texas with 5 years of experience working in my field and 3+ in direct practice and life coaching. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, career challenges, sexual abuse and eating disorders. I have also helped people who have experienced physical trauma and/or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is interactive and attentive. I strongly believe in the self-determination and worth of a person, which is in the social work code of ethics, and work diligently to create an environment where all clients feel seen, respected, heard, validated, and hopeful about their next steps. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, task-oriented, and counseling. I also use a strengths based approach in my therapy model; centering the client as the expert on their life as well as targets and goals they come in with. I believe in a collaboration between the client and therapist and will work with you in creating a treatment plan that will meet your unique and specific needs.
