Welcome to the possibility of seeing a therapist as part of the other services you have subscribed to on this platform. During our scheduled video or phone sessions, I will be supporting your individual growth and empowerment while being present with you throughout these sessions. You will find that I have a STRONG preference for those who plan to actively engage in the counseling process as opposed to subscribing to the service, without scheduling appointments. Some of the approaches I may use in working with you include motivational interviewing, empowerment therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. In addition to sharing with me the issues that you would like to work on, I will keep the door open for discussions you may wish to share both about your family and cultural background that relate to the issues we discuss.
