Hello, my name is Pippa Jones, I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. I have been practicing mental health for the past 7 years. I obtained my bachelors and masters of Social Work from the University of Mississippi, but I am originally from England. I have experience working with individuals, parents, children, couples, and adolescents, and enjoy working with all different cultural backgrounds. I have obtained experience in working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, personality disorders, Bipolar, low self-esteem, lack of coping skills, family conflicts, addictions, grief, as well as surrounding life changes and events.

I am a caring and compassionate individual and I work hard at tailoring therapy to your needs and goals. My goal is to meet you where you are in your journey, encourage, and help you build the tools to thrive. I use evidence-based approaches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness techniques. These approaches help you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view distressing situations more clearly, make healthier decisions, and recognize the impact our thoughts have on our emotions and behaviors. These approaches can help with emotional regulation and distress tolerance. Other approaches I use is Motivational interviewing, Strengths Based approach, and Solution Focused Therapy.
