I am a trauma specialist who utilizes evidence-based approaches to promote healing and self-empowerment. I use EMDR and attachment-guided methods to help “unlock” unresolved experiences that can keep people from living a life free from the pain of their past. Through this process, people find that they are better equipped to prevent the past from repeating itself. I do not view people as sick, dysfunctional, or disordered; rather, I believe that when our desire to grow outweighs our fear of growth, we become empowered to reach our full potential and to live the life that we truly want to live. Oftentimes, this cannot be accomplished alone. Psychotherapy is an effective resource that can become a meaningful and liberating experience. I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and families.
