My "ideal" client wants to improve their quality of life and reach their full potential, whether by changing a current behavior, resolving past distressing life experiences, or better-managing stress and anxiety. Developing a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients is the most important element of being a therapist. My specialty involves helping clients fully participate in their healing. My focuses are on EMDR, internal family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy; however, each client's needs and goals will drive the chosen treatment modality. I believe that we each have the ability to heal. When provided the tools and opportunity, people can find their path to resolve prior traumatic experiences, change unhealthy behaviors, communicate more effectively with others, and develop skills to manage stress and anxiety more effectively.
