My practice is dedicated to helping substance abusers and clients having difficulty coping with life circumstances to heal and live joyful lives. Therapy allows us to sort through our emotional lives in an environment of safety. I utilize motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and guided imagery to assist clients to lean onto the hurt and move on from it. We will work together to increase your awareness of what blocks you from living the life you want and then have the confidence to achieve that life. I have been working in this field for over 30 years. My work emphasizes therapeutic techniques that are individualized and proven to help my clients heal. I offer compassion, understanding and a focus on your goals in an environment of acceptance and safety. Therapy is a collaborative process. I consider it a privilege to work with my clients. The quality of the relationship between therapist and client is the most important factor in therapy. The approaches I use have proven to be effective and result in positive outcomes.
