I am Pennie Hurta, a licensed professional counselor. I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years and currently active in outpatient counseling as well as I am currently a clinical coordinator at a community counseling agency. I obtained a Bachelors of Arts degree from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in Psychology with a minor in Sociology in 2005. I obtained a Masters of Arts degree in Community Agency Counseling from Hampton University in Virginia in 2009. I am a certified DBT therapist and have had TFCBT training as well as Clinical Trauma Professional training.
