About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with people who are seeking recovery from depression, anxiety, addictions, and trauma. I believe a collaborative approach works best to help individuals move through their recovery process. I feel passionate about helping people overcome their challenges. I will work with you to help create a feeling of personal emotional safety, learn mindfulness skills to help manage overwhelming feelings, and increase awareness and insight.

My philosophy is to meet you where you are, help you identify small changes you can make that can have a lasting impact, and be there to provide support through your journey. I have extensive experience working both inpatient/outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment settings.

I have post-graduate training in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems Therapy. I also offer flexible evening and weekend hours to help remove barriers to asking for help that are often created by busy schedules.
