Hello. I'm Paula Nemoga. I attended Hood College for my undergraduate degree in Social Work and obtained my Master's degree at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. I am currently attending Capella University in order to acquire my Docorate of Social Work. I have 12 years experience in Social Work and working with people suffering with mental illnesses and other issues. I began my career working as a case manager in a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) for Youth and Adults with severe mental illnesses. I was a case manager for 3 years and then spent 2 years as a director of that program.
For the past 6 years, I have been a mental health therapist and continued my career as a director for an adult and youth PRP program. I have since moved on from the PRP program and have recently began my journey as a Clinical Supervisor. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. I utilize CBT techniques, mindfulness practices, and I am certified in Trauma Focused-CBT.
