About

I have worked my entire career as a social worker in various capacities, including 8 years as a therapist/counselor. My counseling style is eclectic, utilizing tools from various forms of therapy depending on my client and their concerns. As a part of my training and my life I have been a consumer of both therapy and life coaching, and these experiences have helped me to understand client concerns and perspectives. I believe that my maturity has provided me with a breadth of experience that is very helpful in my awareness, acceptance, and ability.

Of particular interest to me is women’s issues, as I have nearly 20 years experience working in the field of domestic violence. My practice is trauma informed.

I believe that it takes courage to seek treatment, which can lead to self examination and discussion of issues that are more easily pushed aside. But the reward of a more satisfying life is more than worth the effort. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
