My career in the behavioral health/substance use disorder industry began in 1997 at Foundations Sober Living Homes in San Diego, California which I owned for 10 years. Since that time, I returned to school in 2009 in order to fulfill my purpose in working with others. I earned my Associates Degree in Applied Sciences – Chemical Dependency at Rio Salado College, then I completed my Bachelor of Psychology at Grand Canyon University, and then a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling, also from Grand Canyon University. I’m happy to announce that I graduated with a second Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University on 12/31/2021.I currently hold a LAC- Licensed Associate Counselor and LASAC- Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Arizona. I began my clinical career in 2008, when I moved to Arizona from San Diego and started working on the clinical side of addiction and behavioral health treatment. I’ve worked in several residential and outpatient treatment facilities across Arizona.
