Reaching out for help is a bold move and requires courage. Finding the right therapist can be challenging, but so worth it. I hope you find the support and encouragement you seek. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership between therapist and client. You, as the client, are the expert in your life and my role is to partner with you to help you become empowered to function in healthier ways.

As a therapist, I am encouraging and compassionate. I believe respect, genuineness, unconditional positive regard, and empathy are powerful tools useful for helping others become empowered to successfully address challenges in life. Life's problems invite the need for counseling, and I find a solution-focused approach to therapy most helpful. I value cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness, among other tools to help clients practice living free from the past, fully in the present, and hopeful about the future.

With 8 years experience, I've been successfully counseling clients and helping them become empowered to experience personal growth. I have worked with clients in a variety of settings; residential, home-based, and private practice settings. Clients report they feel supported, encouraged, and safe in a judgment-free setting during counseling sessions with me. If you are willing to be vulnerable and honest while working towards your counseling goals, and you choose to invite me on your journey to healing, I am here to support you.

You are the expert in your life and I am dedicated to serving you well. In order to do that I do my best to keep a balance between work and rest. I will be available to you most weeks Monday through Friday, and I am unavailable most weekends. This allows me to be the best version of myself when I show up for you, the client.
